Contemporary Choral

TCS Contemporary Choral has been performing at Eisteddfodau, concerts and corporate engagements since its formation in 1999. Rehearsing once a week under the direction of conductor, Nerida Eckert, this dynamic group performs wide ranging repertoire from jazz standards, music theatre and pop to more challenging classical and contemporary works. Friday night rehearsals offer opportunities to learn new material and improve individual and choral techniques. We also attempt a little choralography from time to time! While providing quality performances is Contemporary’s main focus, there is always time for a bit of fun. Movie nights, road trips and regular post rehearsal coffee and chat sessions are also activities open to members of Contemporary Choral.

Rehearsals

TCS Contemporary Choral meets on Friday evenings (except for school holidays) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.  During the major production weeks, rehearsal start at 6:30pm for one hour.
